Vision and Melody entertainment and KXAM worked together to air the last part of the 2005 Mesa Miners season, along with the first round of play-offs.VME was able to supply the engineering equipment and talent along with professional and knowledgeable play by play and color commentators. VME worked on material's to secure a station deal and sponsorships along with producing all the commercials and imaging materials. An agreement was set for 2006 however the team dissolved before the season started.

The Golden Baseball League in it's third year of existence spans the west coast and internationally. In it's first year The Samurai Bears did battle while this year the league went north of the border to add Calgary and Edmonton.
